CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19)

We, the Rock Choir Team, are monitoring the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID 19) situation and the advice and guidance being issued by the governments of the UK. We are following the appropriate guidance in each country and we are asking our members to do the same and to adhere to all isolation rules and self-testing guidance. We also ask that they do not attend rehearsals if they:

  • Feel unwell
  • Have any of the following symptoms: a new, continuous cough or a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste, a high temperature
  • Have tested positive for Covid-19
  • Been contacted by the NHS test and trace services and asked to self-isolate
We are continuing to provide an online rehearsal alternative called ‘National Rock Choir Online’ for those members who are not yet ready to re-join us for physical rehearsals in the room.

What if a member tests positive?

If a member notifies us that they have tested positive for Coronavirus, we will ask them to follow the guidance issued by the Government. Rock Choir will not inform the whole choir of a positive result. We remain in support of the NHS Test & Trace system which will communicate with our members if they need to isolate or react to a COVID alert.

THANK YOU!

We will continue to monitor the guidance issued in England, Scotland and Wales and will update our teams and members as the journey changes. We will ensure that any additional information is added to our website. We send our thanks to every member who has supported and continues to support us. We were delighted to see so many of you in the room with us again for Spring 2022 and for those of you who are with us online or are staying away until the time is right, we cannot wait to see you again!

Please stay safe, well and positive!
